Schlieger is the number one residential solar power provider for custom solar installations in the Czech Republic. They offer turnkey solar solutions that allow homeowners to harness excess energy for water heating systems and batteries. With almost 6,000 customers, Schlieger continues to grow internally, especially within its sturles team.
The brief
Just as it can be difficult for prospects to stand out on their resumes, it’s also a challenge for companies to catch the attention of new hires among a sea of competing employers. When Schlieger sought to hire a sales rep, they wanted to create a recruitment video that would attract applicants and succinctly highlight the work that the Schlieger team takes pride in. They needed to recruit for this position as soon as possible, so the video had to be completed within 48 hours.
Creating an approachable company image
I wrote the script, found an actor, and shot and directed the recruitment video in a span of 2 days. Through intentional camerawork and drone shots, the clip elevated Schlieger in the eyes of potential hires. I saw this project as more than a recruitment video; it was an opportunity for a company to leverage visual storytelling in order to better connect with recruits and set itself apart from competitors.
