Meet DJI Telink and the DJI FPV
DJI Telink is the Czech Republic’s only official distributor of DJI, the world’s most popular brand for sophisticated drones. I worked with DJI Telink on several previous projects, including product photography for the Mavic Air 2 and videography to showcase DJI drones. This year, DJI released their first-person view (FPV) drone, which immerses the pilot into the drone’s surroundings in real-time. This exciting flying experience is designed for both advanced drone racers and beginners alike.
The brief
DJI Telink requested a video advertisement for the newly-released DJI FPV drone that would be featured across their social media platforms. The video needed to demonstrate the racing drone’s immersive platform and captivating visuals in a way that communicated the unique capabilities of the DJI FPV drone. The project also required skill with flying the racing drone over remote landscapes in Madeira.
A breathtaking video for a sleek flying machine
Using the Mavic 2 PRO and DJI FPV, I shot footage across the dramatic forests and mountains on Madeira, an archipelago located west of Morocco. From leaving a controller at home to fixing a corrupted hard drive, I navigated several challenges to complete this project. I also applied my experience with racing drones to capture clean shots and expanded my color-grading knowledge to produce the final video. The end result was an aesthetically-pleasing advertisement that successfully showcased the DJI FPV.
