DEF-TEC is one of the largest Land Rover dealerships in the Czech Republic and specializes in services for the luxury car brand. When Land Rover unveiled the 2021 Defender, the new model’s impressive design and spirit of adventure garnered prestigious awards, including the 2021 World Car Design of the Year. Built to brave rugged terrain and cruise on-road, the 2021 Land Rover Defender pushes to new frontiers in a timeless style.
The brief
DEF-TEC needed compelling visuals to advertise the award-winning 2021 Land Rover Defender. The images had to emphasize the new model’s advanced capabilities and celebrated design while staying true to the powerful Land Rover brand. Capturing the car’s details and scouting locations fit for the 2021 Defender were top priorities. DEF-TEC planned to use the photos for promotional materials online and on social media.
Directing an outdoors photoshoot for the SUV
In just one week, I directed the end-to-end photoshoot of the 2021 Land Rover Defender for DEF-TEC. I found locations that would emphasize the vehicle’s unmatched off-road capabilities and sleek design, used the best cameras, lenses, and drones on the market, and fine-tuned the final images down to the last pixel. Despite the tight timeline, I maintained the highest attention to detail throughout each stage of the project and delivered high-quality imagery fit for Land Rover’s most impressive SUV to date.
