The land of fire and ice
Famed for its captivating landscape filled with volcanos, glaciers, and mountains, Iceland is a natural world wonder. One can’t help but feel awe and admiration when catching a glimpse of Iceland’s spectacular scenery. What better place than this to capture the power of nature with an equally powerful drone for DJI Telink?
The brief
I was tasked by DJI Telinka, the leading distributor of DJI’s advanced drones in the Czech Republic— to demonstrate their drones’ state-of-the-art features. The goal was to highlight DJI’s 4K aerial video capture and cinematic capabilities through impressive drone footage of Iceland. Scenes and stills from the video would be published on DJI Telink’s product pages to better engage with their website visitors.
“Iceland: A Dream”
Over the course of one week, I tested DJI’s drones and shot various locations around Iceland. Rather than stringing together separate footage, I made a storyboard for the project to give the video a cohesive and creative feel. The dreamlike sequence came to life with thoughtful and precise video editing, which helped viewers feel as if they were stepping into the breathtaking scenes of Iceland.
